Knowledge Share Group v.2.2 – Webinar

7th May 2020

In the last couple of weeks, we have experienced a huge change in how those within the world of SAP work, interact and most importantly stay healthy. SAP projects are unique. They are nearly always large, complex and costly – carrying considerable risk. In our view they can also be emotive projects with stakeholders not always on board.

We noticed very quickly that during the recent COVID19 crisis, there has been a huge amount of content and information RE: how to effectively work from home. All very useful and worth a read. However, from speaking to leaders within the SAP community, it is apparent that we are not accustomed to effectively leading and onboarding large SAP programs/projects with a remote workforce. While we may have delivered pockets of projects via overseas vendors/partners, we have never delivered a full project, across many months where everyone is isolated, including the leaders who are accustomed to being so visible.

We therefore reached out to our SAP leadership network and were able to quickly collate a quick insight and tips document that was extremely well received by the greater SAP community https://www.precisionsourcing.co.nz/wordpress/successful-sap-program-remote-workforce/.

Following this we have now brought together 3 highly experienced SAP leaders who have kindly agreed to offer their insight and guidance via an exclusive one off webinar focused on the topic of ‘how to effectively lead and onboard remotely’. This webinar is your chance to listen, learn and interact with those who are leading and onboarding remotely right now.

Knowledge Share Group v.1.2

Following on from the success of the first event in April, Precision Sourcing wants to bring like-minded leaders together again, within the SAP Sydney community to collaborate, share challenges, successes and knowledge in a relaxed environment. From this, we expect you to learn and gain insight that will add value to your professional development outside of your current employer.

There will be two guest speakers as well as SAP Recruiter Jay Wynter and MD Simon Hair also presenting. At the Knowledge Share Group Precision Sourcing will be presenting the findings from their recent Australian SAP Market Survey.   Over 200 SAP resources based here in Australia completed the survey .   Precision Sourcing’s Specialist SAP Recruiter Jay Wynter commented “the response was fantastic and some of the data insights we have gained has really surprised us.  We will be initially sharing the insights with the Knowledge Share Group before offering to the wider SAP community.

Knowledge Share Group v.1

On Wednesday the 27th April Precision Sourcing are partnering with LinkedIn to host their very first Knowledge Share Group.  This event is invite only and brings together a round table of some of Sydney’s most influential and talented within the SAP community.

Precision Sourcing’s Simon Hair commented “the idea for the event came from a discussion with some clients and candidates late last year who complained about the lack of collaboration they get to have with others within the local SAP domain.  The conversations got me thinking and we created the Knowledge Share Group with the aim of building a community of like minded SAP talent who can share knowledge, challenges and advice in a comfortable environment.  Ultimately the aim is to help each other, learn and build deeper relationships within the SAP field here in Sydney.”
